Bram is my buddy. He’s my friend Mary Kate’s little brother, and he reminds me so much of Elijah it’s scary. I love that boy. He’s 17, KNOWS he’s tall, dark, and handsome, is just conceited enough to be funny but not enough to be annoying, and never ceases to make me laugh. This weekend Bram, Mary Kate, and their sister Sara Beth were in Florida at their cousin’s wedding. Mary Kate posted this on facebook this morning during their drive back home:

Bram, at the wheel again: “Open my drink for me, woman!”
Sara Beth, aghast at Bram’s lack of manners: “Woman?”
Bram recalculated: “Uhhh … attractive damsel!”

I laughed out loud.
